Chuck

Chuck é supervisor do “Nerd Herd”, um balcão de atendimento dentro de uma loja “Buy More” que serve para tirar dúvidas dos clientes ou consetar algum problema nos aparelhos eletrônicos. Ele não sabe se tem o que é preciso para ser o gerente assistente da Buy More ou como lidar com a política do escritório, mesmo com seu melhor amigo Morgan sempre tentando lhe ajudar. Além de não ter também uma vida social, o que deixa sua irmã Ellie muito preocupada. Mas quando o Chuck recebe um e-mail codificado de um antigo companheiro de quarto da faculdade, sua vida vira de cabeça para baixo. O e-mail contém milhares de imagens que passam no tela do computador e o deixam hipnotizado. Ele fica sabendo depois que as imagens representam todos os segredos do governo, e que agora esses segredos estão alojados no seu cérebro. A NSA e a CIA mandam seus agentes para tentar recuperar o material, mas eles descobrem que não há nenhuma cópia no computador, restando apenas o cérebro do Chuck. Agora ele terá que esconder de todo mundo sua vida dupla e ajudar os agentes com os conhecimentos que possui para completar importantes missões.Josh Schwartz, criador e produtor executivo da série, a descreve como uma comédia de ação e faz dois tipos de comparações, uma seria uma mistura das séries “Alias” e “The Office”, e a outra seria uma mistura entre os filmes “A Identidade Bourne” e “O Virgem de 40 Anos”. A série, além de ter um missão por episódio, vai mostrar também como Chuck vai lidar com sua nova vida e as dificuldades que ele terá trabalhando na “Buy More”, que pode ser tão perigoso quanto o trabalho da NSA e da CIA. O maior objetivo da série é mostrar os problemas de jovem de 20 e poucos anos, mas eles acharam que acrescentando à isso um pouco de ação e ninjas (sim, vemos um ninja no episódio piloto), tornaria tudo mais interessante… E eles tinha razão!
